Lead Pastor

Pastor Matt Brown is the lead pastor of Sandals Church in Riverside, California. Sandals Church began in 1997 when Pastor Matt and his wife Tammy set out to create a church where people could be real with themselves, God and others. From its first meeting in the Brown’s living room with eight people, Sandals Church has since grown to reach more than 40,000+ people digitally each weekend with thirteen locations across the Inland Empire, Central Valley, and Northern California. Pastor Matt is deeply passionate about the vision of authenticity and seeing people come to know a God who loves them.

Pastor Dan Zimbardi

Executive Pastor

Pastor Dan Zimbardi has been the Executive Pastor of Sandals Church, one of the largest and fastest-growing churches in America, for the past eight years. Dan spent 22 years as an entrepreneur and corporate executive who has worked with some of the most dynamic brands in the world; including Google, Nike, and Burton Snowboards. Dan’s passion is to train and develop leaders both in ministry and the marketplace.

Ron McCoy

Executive Director

Ron McCoy has been an active member of Sandals Church for nearly the entire life of the church and a licensed minister since 2007. Ron spent 20 years in the marketplace as a corporate executive and entrepreneur before joining the team to help lead Sandals Church and start the ROGO Impact Initiative with the goal of better positioning the church to grow and reach more people with the gospel. Ron loves leading others, driving change, and has a tremendous passion for the global and local church.

Scot Camden

Advancement Director

Scot Camden serves as the Advancement Director for both Sandals Church and the ROGO Impact Initiative. Scot and his family began attending Sandals Church in 2016 and knew very quickly the Lord was calling them to make Sandals Church their home church and to commit to its vision of being real. Scot has a decade of experience in church partnerships and development and has traveled all over the US, Australia and New Zealand working with hundreds of churches and business leaders to bring them together to grow the local church.

Chris Camden

Senior Director of Development

Chris Camden serves as the Senior Director of Development for the ROGO Impact Initiative and Pastor of Development at Sandals Church. He and his wife have invested decades in building connections and investing in the local church. Chris’ knowledge of the business world and the church world allows him to connect and develop relationships easily with others. As each relationship grows he is able to help others connect with kingdom building efforts that are in line with their interests and passions.
